The round point shovel is made of 14 gauge tempered steel blade for strength. The shovel has a forward turn step to create a firmer, more comfortable step for leverage when breaking through ground and other hard material. The head is shaped to create a fulcrum at the top of the head for greater leverage when picking up material. The head is double riveted to a smooth lacquered hardwood handle. The 48″ hardwood handle provides extended reach of tool.
